Residence Inn by Marriott Tampa Westshore/Airport

We were scheduled to stay two nights, but due to unforeseen circumstances surrounding the closing of the sale of our home, we ended up staying 16 nights. We could have easily upgraded to another hotel because our expenses were covered, but we were so comfortable here, we decided to stay the whole time. The place is very clean (TOP priority for me), all the staff, including Jake, and everyone else I encountered were professional, pleasant, empathetic, accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure un-planned stay was as pleasant as possible. The free hot breakfast was great! LOVE the waffle bar!! Thank you for making an otherwise nightmare situation a pleasant one! Kudos to everyone at Residence Inn, Westshore, for a great job!

From the moment we stepped in the door, until we sadly had to leave, this place was great. We were offered our choice of floor, which caught me so off guard, I didn’t even know how to answer! The room was spacious and clean. We stayed 3 nights and after our 2nd night our room was cleaned, which was super nice. They have a outdoor pool with grills that was really nice and relaxing. We came for a football game at Raymond James Stadium and were pleased to realize we could easily walk. Breakfast was solid, typical but nice. We requested a late check out as Gold members and were pleasantly granted our requests. All in all it was a lovely stay and we will be returning any time we come to Tampa!

Up until today., this was my hotel of choice. I have booked about five nights in the last month. The rooms were great, the location was exactly where I needed, and the breakfast was an added bonus. However, Tonight I arrived to honor a two night reservation that I made yesterday through the front desk. Upon arriving, there is roofing, major roofing going on on the Residence Inn. Yesterday, the man who made my reservation never told me or indicated that this roofing would be going on. Can I tell you that the noise is horrific. To get to the lobby I had to walk over a large blue tarp, which was really dangerous. I also had to walk around an extremely large piece of machinery that was there to roof the building. Stefano, the man who checked me in, said that it would end at five. But my reservation is for all day tomorrow and until Sunday. My problem? I was never told that this would happen. I was never given the option to say I will choose another residence Inn in the area. And when I ask if I could have a room on the bottom floor, so at least the top floor, my cushion some of the sound he also told me they were booked completely, and he could not change anything. So then I ask, of course, I ask, can you give me a discount for my inconvenience? Of course, he again said no. But it would end at five. When I left to go eat, it was still going on. Maybe he did not have any ability to help me, but he sure didn’t seem like he was going to try. I called customer service. And they were hoping to get me more points, but we’re not sure if that was even possible. Not many points. Just a few. I just thought you should know

AWESOME hotel with wonderful employees who make your stay a memorable one. SHOUT-OUT to Mica and Nancy were BOTH great at the front desk & VERY attentive. They gave us a nice 2 bedroom suite upgrade and nice gift for my wife who was celebrating her B-day. Great room will nice Kitchen and spacious living room and nice bedrooms~ We chose this Marriott as its a short walk to Fleming restaurant which we LOVE~ If in Tampa and staying in the Westshore district look no further than the wonderful Residence Inn.
